Electrical Signs

The traditional “electrical” sign is illuminated, usually by neon or fluorescent bulbs and more recently by LEDs. Those types of signs still abound and may be in the form of individual letters, cabinet signs, with flat translucent face(s) with vinyl or painted text and graphics. Sometimes the signs are entirely neon. Technology has now progressed to the stage where the traditional signs have been augmented with signs that display moving or changing messages and others that function just like large, full color TVs. (For safety reasons, most jurisdictions restrict the number of image changes permitted per minute.
